Last updated: June 1, 2026
Chapzine is built for photographers, and we take copyright seriously. If you believe content on Chapzine infringes your copyright, you can ask us to remove it using the process below. This policy reflects the principles of the DMCA and the EU Copyright Directive.
Reporting infringement
Send a notice to hello@chapzine.com including all of the following:
- Your name and contact details.
- Identification of the work you say is infringed.
- The link(s) to the infringing content on Chapzine.
- A statement that you have a good-faith belief the use isn’t authorized by the rights holder or the law.
- A statement that the information is accurate and that you are the rights holder or authorized to act for them.
- Your physical or electronic signature.
What happens next
When we receive a valid notice, we’ll review it and may remove or disable access to the content, and notify the user who posted it.
Counter-notice
If your content was removed and you believe that was a mistake or that you have the right to use it, you can send a counter-notice to the same address, identifying the content, explaining why, and providing your contact details and signature. We may restore the content if appropriate.
Repeat infringers
We will, in appropriate circumstances, suspend or terminate the accounts of users who repeatedly infringe copyright.
Misuse
Submitting false or bad-faith notices may make you liable for damages. If you’re unsure whether something is infringing, consider seeking legal advice before sending a notice.
