Terms of Service

These terms govern your use of Chapzine, operated by the Chapzine team (“we”, “us”). By creating an account or using the service, you agree to them. If you don’t agree, don’t use Chapzine.

Eligibility

You must be at least 18 years old and able to enter into a binding agreement to use Chapzine.

Your account

You’re responsible for your account and for keeping your credentials secure. You’re responsible for the activity that happens under your account. You can delete your account at any time from your profile settings.

Your content and who owns it

You keep ownership of everything you create — your photographs, text, and projects remain yours. To run the service, you grant us a worldwide, non-exclusive, royalty-free licence to host, store, reproduce, and display your content solely to operate and provide Chapzine (for example, showing your published work to viewers you’ve shared it with). This licence ends when you delete the content or your account, except for content others have already lawfully reshared or that we must retain by law.

You confirm you have the rights to the content you upload and that it doesn’t infringe anyone else’s rights.

Acceptable use

You agree not to upload or do anything that:

• infringes copyright or other rights (see our Copyright Policy);
• is illegal, harassing, hateful, or violates someone’s privacy;
• is pornographic, sexually explicit, or contains nudity — not permitted at this time (this may change in future with appropriate age-gating and safeguards);
• sexually exploits or endangers minors in any way — this is strictly prohibited and will be reported to the relevant authorities;
• attempts to break, overload, scrape, or abuse the service or its AI features.

Moderation and enforcement

We may review reported content and, at our discretion, remove content, or warn, suspend, or terminate accounts that violate these terms — particularly for the prohibited content above.

AI assistance

Chapzine offers optional AI-generated suggestions to support your thinking. These are generated automatically, may be inaccurate, and are provided “as is” — they’re a starting point, not professional advice, and you remain responsible for your work.

Disclaimer and liability

The service is provided “as is” and “as available”, without warranties of any kind. To the maximum extent permitted by law, we are not liable for indirect or consequential damages, or for loss of data or content. Nothing here limits liability that cannot be limited under applicable law.

Termination

You may stop using Chapzine and delete your account at any time. We may suspend or terminate access if you breach these terms or to protect the service or other users.

Governing law

These terms are governed by the laws of Spain, and disputes are subject to the courts of Spain, without affecting any mandatory consumer-protection rights you have where you live.

Changes

We may update these terms; we’ll revise the “last updated” date and, for material changes, notify you. Continued use means you accept the revised terms.
